Children are a blessing. They are also biohazards. February came and went, and all I did was stay in bed with lots of hot tea, books and hand knitted socks on the feet. In Sweden we call it "Vabruari", a retraction of "Taking care of sick children in February". The progress of the fever can be seen in my pile of books. I started out with a biography on Georgiana, the Dutchess of Bedford (serious literature) and continued with a Magical Bakery Mystery (light but still with good quality). Then the fever got worse and all I could bear was Julia Quinn (the only thing lighter is Harlequin). Finally, when things were almost normal again, back to serious literature and a biography on Fanny Kemble.
My very creative day job will take lots and lots of time this year, so when will I find time for my personal stuff? I miss my sketch book!
